Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Futureflare Technologies LLP ("Futureflare", "we", "our", or "us") handles personal information when you visit ping-browser.com or use Ping Browser. It applies globally to anyone who interacts with us.

1. Who we are

Futureflare Technologies LLP is a limited liability partnership organised under the laws of India. For any privacy related question or request, write to [email protected]. The Grievance Officer designated under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 is Uday Bansal, reachable at [email protected]. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days of receipt.

2. What this Policy covers

This Policy covers ping-browser.com (the "Site") and Ping Browser (the "Product") as made generally available. Where you use the Product under a separate agreement with us, that agreement governs how your data is handled and we act on your documented instructions. An older open source build of Ping Browser is available at ping-browser.com/Download; that build runs locally on your device and does not send your browsing activity to us.

3. Information we collect

3.1 What you give us.

When you fill in the demo or contact form, or write to us, we collect the name, email, company, and any other details you choose to provide.

3.2 What is collected automatically when you visit the Site.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working and to understand how visitors use it. Standard server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent, and timestamp) are kept for security and reliability.

3.3 Telemetry from the Product.

By default, the Product does not send usage information to us. Where your IT administrator enables reporting in a managed deployment, that data is handled under the agreement covering your deployment.

4. Cookies

The Site uses cookies for basic operation and for Google Analytics, which helps us understand site usage. IP addresses are anonymised before processing. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings. If our use of cookies changes materially, this Policy will be updated.

5. How we use information

  • to respond to demo and support requests;
  • to operate, secure, and improve the Site and the Product;
  • to communicate about service related matters;
  • to comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Legal bases (visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions)

We rely on performance of a contract or steps to enter into one; legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our Site and Product; consent, where required by law for the use of certain cookies or similar technologies; and legal obligation, where applicable.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share limited information with service providers that help us run the Site and the Product. These fall into the following categories:

  • hosting and content delivery;
  • web analytics;
  • transactional email for the contact and demo forms;
  • professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality obligations.

A current list of named subprocessors is available on request to [email protected]. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.

8. International transfers

Some recipients operate in countries outside your own. Where personal information is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or India, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, then delete or anonymise it. Indicative periods: contact and demo emails up to 24 months from the last contact; site analytics as configured at the analytics service; server logs up to 90 days; records we are required to keep by law, for the period the law requires.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent where we rely on consent, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Residents of California and similar United States jurisdictions also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross context behavioural advertising.

Residents of India have the rights provided by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination, and may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any right, write to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the period required by applicable law.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transport and access controls. No system is perfectly secure. To report a security issue, write to [email protected].

12. Children

The Site and the Product are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you become aware that a minor has provided personal information to us, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
